Prince Caspian's story starts with the four kings and queens of Narnia, otherwise known as Peter, Edmund, Susan and Lucy. As they were waiting for their trains which would be their final step in parting ways for their new seperate schools, a weird force pulled them back to the amazing fantasy land called Narnia. These four kids had no idea why they were there and what brought them. After a while sitting on the island they appeared on, a little man was brought to them by strange coincidence. This little man began telling them the story of Prince Caspian. Caspian was the next rightful heir to the throne, his uncle Miraz was currently king. Caspian become knowledgeable of the old Narnian's (fantasy characters), which came to upset his uncle. When Miraz finally had a son, he got a sudden urge to dispose of Caspian so his son would be the next heir to the throne. Because Prince Caspian wanted to save the old Narnians that were banished, he went on an adventure to rescue the old Narnians, defeat his uncle and regain his right to the throne. The four kings and queens of Narnia decided to join Caspian in his desperate fight to help the beautiful old Narnia be complete again. In this tale, only Peter, Edmund, Susan and Lucy can help this rightful heir to throne defeat the evil Miraz and regain peace in Narnia, with the help of Aslan the great lion of course.
In my opinion, this book was quite boring. There was not much excitement and it was one of those, "Oh no, another chapter!" type books. I had read all the books previous to this one and i have to say they were a LOT more interesting. This book's plot was nice but it took so long to get to the point. On a scale from 1-10, 1 being the worst and 10 being the best, I'd give this book a 5.5.
